‘Shot by Both Sides’ is the portrait of a city from the perspective of a young woman with a zest for life and its adventures. Cornelia Wilhelm was roaming the streets of New York documenting the art scene in the village, everyday life in the Bronx but also Coney Island where the working class spent their spare time on the beaches amongst derelict leisure parks and fair stalls. Varese Corridor brought a selection of these images into adequate book form and lead the process from concept through to production.
